3 9X40 Black Scope Ruby Lens

Even in the over-produced wide world of rifle scopes, the NcStar SFB3940R is an magnificent merchandise Then, taking the sub-$30 price (shipped) into consideration, it’s a steal… so much so that I purchased a second one ‘just in case’. Adjusts from 3x-9x with a 40mm objective, includes two rings and comes with all of the hardware needed for mounting onto any Picatinny/Weaver/ MIL-STD-1913/STANAG 2324/Tactical rail. End covers are amber, allowing you to use the scope in a hurry while being alerted to the presence of caps. Very pleased with this scope on my optics-ready AR-15, and you will be too!

Everyone this scope is not a high dollar scope but it preforms and looks like one. This scope has a p4 sniper reticle. Just like mildots, but rather of circular dots they are lines that run horizontally on the up and down cross hair and vertically on the left to right cross hair. This scope is very easy to sight in. Took fewer than 15 shots for me. This is a scope that you could effortlessly put on a .22 rifle or even a 22-250. I purchased this for my cheap daisy 901. Works swell looks nice. The one thing I would change on this scope is have the wind-age and elevation adjustments more firm. Over all a scope and will fit anyone’s needs from a .22 rifle to simply a pellet gun!

i just got this and i love it i put it on my 30-06 and it contains up to the power, i love how it has the tinted lens just outstanding purchase

Purchased a GAMO air rifle that included a 3-9×40 scope. Scope was defective could not web website in at 35 yards. GAMO was willing to fix or replace the scope if I covered the shipping expenditures This scope was not much more then my shipping cost would have been and a lot more immediate solution. I mounted this scope and was competent to internetlocation it in at 35 yards in fewer than 12 rounds. No problem now keeping the squirrels out of the wife’s bird feeders. Head shots are a given with this scope. What a outstanding price too!

Only negative from my view point is the reddest color in the lens. It takes awhile to get use poisonous

I in truth like the scope, it has a swell field of view and was genuinely easy to site in. The weaver rail mounts that came with it were top notch also.

Quality is better than I expected for $28. It’s well made, clear and bright. I have a heap of different scopes and I may honestly say the clarity of this scope is no less than such a good deal of scopes that costs twice or three times more. I mounted it on a Daisy Powerline 880s to replace the crappy 4x15mm scope coming with the rifle and the result is fantastic–the rifle immediately became much more accurate, easy and fun to use.

The reasons for 4 stars rather of 5:

1. The goal to be attained lens has a red/ruby glare from tinted coating–good scope must have clear lens (even with coating) since any light reflected away is light lost during the transmission. The result is off color slightly when looking though this scope;

2. The minimum distance to use 9x has to be 15-20 yards away which is a bummer for me since I shoot the airgun a lot at 10-12 yards thence may only use 6-7x at this distance. I have a 3-9x40mm scope of another brand and have two pairs of 10x binoculars and they all may see clearly objects at 10 yards using maximum power so I wish the manufacturer can make an betterment on this one.

All in all this is a outstanding scope for the cash and I am considering another purchase for a center-fire rifle shooting targets at 100-200 yards.

Update: The so called P4 sniper reticle on this scope differ from (and less useful utile the one illustrated on NcStar website.

I now have 2 of these. For the price it is hard to beat. It works great on 22′s. It does get blurry after the 7x magnification, so I tend to leave it on 7x. At 100yards 7x is works very well. I have it on a Ruger 10/22 and a Mossberg Plinkster and I’m getting 1″ group at 100yards from a bench rest.

great price and value for a variable power scope for my marlin 795. the 40 mm means it grabs light not similar to the typical .22 scope and offers a wider field of visual sensation to the shooter. comes with the ordinary 7/8 weaver rings which do not work with the 3/8 grooves found on the typical .22. thank you NcStar for a great merchandise Reading the other positive reviews on this scope confident me to try this scope and i’m happy i did.

mounted scope on saiga 7.62×39 easy to sight in holds zero after a great deal of rds. so i will purchase another for my new saiga 223 buy it can’t go faulty

clear crisp sight picture you will need such a great deal of threadlocker if you mount this on a real rifle not on an air gun!
