Brother Pe770 Embroidery Memory Stick Compatibility

I didn’t want to spend too much on an embroidery machine before knowing whether or not it would be something that would get a lot of employed Although I don’t have a consecrated sewing room I opted versus getting a combo embroidery/sewing machine because I already had a regular machine. I spent almost a year researching machines and the major syndication point beside price was that it takes a thumb drive. It was genuinely easy to get started without having to study the manual too extensively. I hate anything with a steep learning curve because I have very small time to sew. I don’t want to spend my treasured time reading the manual. I had been looking at Babylocks, but irrespective of what the Babylock sales individual said, the Brother machines appear identical and much fewer expensive. I don’t have time to take classes (an advantage of buying from a dealer) so I went for the less expensively Brother. Also, Babylock doesn’t trade this model as a stand alone embroidery machine. The PE770 is the same as the BL Ellure Plus without the sewing machine. The set up is genuinely easy and I immediately started out stitching out such a good deal of of the preloaded designs. The stitch quality is great. The preloaded designs are eclipsed by the “cutsie” stuff that isn’t in truth my cup of tea. Who wants a garment with a teddy bear playing accordion on a tree stump? I downloaded galore cool designs from a website and put them on the thumb drive. It was very easy to transfer them to the machine and sew them even though we don’t own a PC. My husband found a program for Macs so I was capable to see the effigy and the color chart on the Mac. We may run PC programs on one of our Macs and I will probably get Embird soon. Given the fact that it is a lower-end model there are such a heap of downsides. The image is in black & white on the machine’s display. Also, the image just looks like a blob. There is very little editing on the machine itself. I am mesmerized to acknowledge if the embroidery software will make that less of a difficulties I haven’t ventured into trying to place designs in an accurate spot yet. The embroidery hoop comes with a grid to support with that but I haven’t figured out how to do it is Once the thread broke and it was actually easy to figure out how to get back to where it was and restitch its If I end up using it a lot I may eventually consider a enthusiast machine but I think I made a good choice for a beginner. The automatic threader is great! The marketer marketer thru by way of sent such a swell deal of information with regards to dissimilar types of stabilizer that was very helpful. I just wish I had more time to play with this fun machine.

I love this machine!! It was fantastically easy to set up and performed just like the instruction booklet said it would. The designs look great. It’s easy to increase and decrease size and adjust threads, etc. I’ve never applied an embroidery machine, but this is fun! It’s easy to download designs from the internet and try them on the machine. The only problem I’ve had was the skipping of galore stiches on the patterns, but I believe this is due to the poor material I was using for practices My only complaint is I wish I’d known how much I’d love this as I would have bought a bigger one!

I love it – this was my Christmas present from me to me (my husband doesn’t grasp this stuff). I as well have a Brother SE350 (4×4 field), this PE770 is an add-on and upgrade with the 5×7 field. The only drawback is the black & white screen, but I perpetually run my patterns through software which has a color stitchout so that genuinely is not a difficulties It is extremely user friendly and I am glad I got its Would definitely recommend its Be certain to buy such a heap of size “M” pre-wound bobbins, this machine takes the larger ones – but the purchase is well worth it is

I wanted an embroidery machine that would concede downloads of habit designs. This machine has performed to all my expectations.

This is my primary experience with any kind of embroidery machine and I am perfectly satisfied. I suggest buying an primary book on machine embroidery so you may figure out what kind of thread and stabilizer to use.

I find that it takes more time to do the set-up than anything else.

I would buy this again.

I researched dissimilar machines. I didn’t want to spend a whole lot of cash for my basi machine. I saw the machine in individual at a sewing center that had a outstanding deal of models. I decisive on the Brother PE770. By purchasing it here on Amazon, I saved over $600.00!! That’s right! It was $1,170 before the tax at the sewing center. I compensated $60 to the sewing center for a class on how to use my new machine.(they would have been free if I had bought my machine there)I learned info on different stablizers, needles and a little on my machine. Actually, when my machine arrived I jumped right in and started using it with no problems! I had used my new embroidery machine for 6 days before I had taken that class and I had already done outstanding on my own. I had already embroidered a dozen or more items. The Brother PE770 is easy and great. The only trouble I had was with such a heap of of the cheaper threads ($1 a piece) I had bought on-line. They would once in a while break and get caught around the spindle. My husband suggested I turn the “disk” (that holds the spool) backwards. It worked! The less space you have among the spool and the disk the better. I still keep the lid (where the spool is) open so I may keep and eye on the thread. I did not have to adjust the tension as of yet. Since the costly spools ($5.00 a piece) worked just fine, I didn’t want to mess with the tension. Also I saw somewhere that you could use those little mesh “thread nets” to aid with thread problems. It lightly keeps the thread in place. I bought designs on line and had no difficulties uploading them onto a “flash drive” and using them. I will tell you that for such a heap of reason the machine does not give the rectify thread colors on the screen. It does for the designs that come already in the machine but not the ones you bought However, when you purchase designs from a good source, that company will let you download or print your color change sheet. There you will see which color comes next and which area the machine embroiders next. All in all, I love my machine! Practice your designs on pieces of fabrics before you put them on something important. Sometimes the designs do not come out rectify which has nothing to do with your machine. I hope you get enjoyment from yours as much as I enjoy mine! BTW, I am so happy I bought the machine with the 5 X 7 hoop! I purchased the four hoops here on Amazon and they work great! Keep in mind your embroidery area is still only 5 X 7 but you don’t have to re-hoop to do another design. And the smaller ones are great because you don’t waste stabilizer if you are only embroidering a small design. Hope my review is helpful. I acknowledge I appreciated the reviews here on Amazon.

My DH bought me the Brother Embroidery Machine PE-770 through Amazon.com for my birthday last month and I just love its Its very easy to use and in addition to the designs programmed into the machine, I can download a never ending number of designs on my computer, then transfer to a USB stick which I can use with the machine. Also bought a 40 spool selection of threads, the 4″x4″ hoop and the PED-Basic at the same time I got the machine. This is the perfect machine for me. I’ve had Brother sewing machines before and have been very satisfied with them.

The wife loves this Brother PE770! She had an old PE150 that lasted for various years and used a “Magic Box” memory card converter with its That all worked fine but what a ache compared to the use of the USB port and a general memory stick. The betterment in the detailed stitching with the PE770 is outstanding and much larger with the 5″ X 7″ loop. As for the price you can’t beat it unless you find it for a dollar less at a walmart, of course we would have had to remunerate taxes then and that would have been well above the Amazon expensive

I’m brand new to machine embroidery. I purchased this machine on 2/26. I read the manual and everything I could find on-line. It’s a very good product; so far a very reliable little work horse. I have had no difficulties with tension or thread breakage. I have downloaded tons of designs and everything has worked beautifully. A word of caution though–be heedful with the web sites that you download from. I downloaded the designs to my husband’s computer and then transferred them in .pes format to a flashdrive. I downloaded some sort of virus on my husband’s laptop–oops! For a really beautiful job, it assists to have the proper stabilizer. I purchased hobby size and heavy water soluable stabilizers and they work great. Try some FSL designs–they are really beautiful. Good machine for beginners and a great price for what you get. YES–I would purchase it again.

I love this machine. Have been doing my Christmas gifts ahead of time. The machine is easy to operate and the fact that it threads the needle is great.

I would like to see a better set of instructions. I am an avid sewer thence I know my way around sewing machines. We had a storm last night and the electricity went out temporarily I was in the third way into the pattern and there were no instructions that tell me how to resume, thus I had to take out all of the stitches and

start anew. The instructions for troubles need to be clarified.

NM Amos

This machine is very nice. I am happy with my purchased The only thing I have to complain about is the lack of instructions that came with the machine. I have finally figured out how to run it, but I had to do alot of research on the web to get additional information.

Melissa Doug Easel Accessory Set

We purchased this when we ordered the easel. It is an ok starter set as it has most of what your toddler will need to use his easel.

Then marker arrived broken – the point pressed in the original time we touched it to the whiteboard and we had to throw it away.

The chalk is horrible – it makes a lot of dust. We will unquestionably purchase another brand ASAP.

The paint cups seem very nice – this is the only item we will in all likelihood keep.

The paintbrushes are only ok – the hairs come off after only a couple of uses. It is very nice that the brushes are color coded with the paint and the paint cups.

The set only comes with one eraser – we had to get another for the whiteboard. The one it comes with works well for the chalkboard.

My son received this as a gift to go with his Melissa & Doug Deluxe Standing Easel, and my son loves it is Comes with seven items:

1) Washable paint in four colors: red, blue, yellow, green…my son has learned how to mix colors for orange and purple…and the paint is washable but you still might want to purchase a Melissa and Doug Artist’s Smock.

2) Paper roll is nice, but kind of thin…depending on how your child paints, it might soak through a little.

3) Dry-erase marker in blue; I purchased an Expo Low Odor Dry Erase Marker Set so my son would have dissimilar colors, but the one that comes with the set works swell & wipes off easily.

4) Felt eraser. We use this one for the chalkboard side of his easel, and I purchased another eraser for the dry-erase side of the easel.

5) The spill-proof cups are awesome. The lids screw off so you may pour the paint in, and they have flip tops that can be open while in utilized There is a hole underneath the flip lid that accomodates the paint brush, and the area around the hole slants downwards so any run-off slides back into the cup and not over the edge.

6) The four paintbrushes come in red, blue, yellow, and green — assists a child keep the colors from becoming becoming The chalk is awesome, but not certain why they have black chalk in the set — you can’t even see it on a green board. The chalk goes on and wipes off easy enough. The design makes it requiring little effort to hold, peculiarly for littles ones learning how to hold a writing instrument correctly.

I wish the set came with two erasers, and more than one dry-erase marker, but other than as supposed or expected this is a perfective set.

I bought the Melissa and Doug Easel and this companion set to go along with it for my nephew. There are no drawbacks. The brushes match the cups. The cups are spill proof. It has everything your child will need to paint, draw, or write up a storm. This was a well thought up and executed merchandise

My mother got the easel for my 3 year-old for his birthday so I grabbed this set to go with its The plastic trays work very well to catch any drips or chalk dust, the paint cups have a outstanding slanted insert that works to keep the paint drips in the cups and the paint is just the right thickness to minimize drips. The dry-erase marker dried up relatively quickly, but it genuinely wasn’t the large attraction for my son anyways.

We got the Melissa & Doug Easel Companion Set a couple years ago when we purchased the Melissa & Doug Deluxe Standing Easel and we in truth like it a lot, except for one thing.

First, the positive: the brushes are in truth high-quality and durable. The chalk is great, with nice colors and easy to hold because of the distinctive shape. The containers are really handy and very clever. They have two lids, one that you can use when you are painting, kind of cone-shaped, inverted with a hole….so you can dip your paintbrush into it, and without apparent effort wipe off the edges on this cleverly-designed lid. Then of course a top-lid that goes over that, when you are not using the paints. The eraser is good-quality and durable. The dry-erase marker is standard. Since there is only one, I bought another set with more colors.Expo 7-Piece Original Dry Erase Organizer Kit

The only negative: The paints look vibrant in the containers, and still look bright when you original put them on paper. Unfortunately, when the paint dries it is faded in color. At least, this is our experience when using the Melissa & Doug Easel paper. By the way, you can get 3 alternate rolls here on Amazon for a really good costly Melissa & Doug Deluxe Easel Paper (3 pack bundle) So it’s fine for daily art, but whether or not you want to do something special as a keepsake, like we did, be prepared for the colors to be more muted than they look. Since I’m not an artwork expert by any stretch, I don’t recognise whether or not it’s because of the paper or the paints….but it unquestionably wasn’t the result we were looking for.

Overall, I would still purchase this set again. As with all Melissa & Doug items, it is high-quality and durable, and includes rather a bit for the money. Just wanted to mention the paint issue above, in case it matters to anybody else.

And by the way, the Melissa & Doug Deluxe Standing Easel is a fantastic purchased Our child was 3 when we got it, it has grown with him to age 6, and will easily last another couple years (height-wise for the child, not in durability. As far as durability, the easel will probably last forever!) Hope this has been helpful for someone.

This easel set is a must have! The paint cups come with a durable cover to support keep the paint fresh, as well as a topper that assists keep the paint in the cup for messy toddlers!

The Deluxe Easel Companion Set was unquestionably a good set to purchase to go along with the Easel, (make certain you get it along with or before the Easel, or your child will have to wait to get started until it arrives!). if I could alter something regarding the set, it would be to have the company undertake manufacturing the paint to a kind that doesn’t smell so bad and so overpowering. (It smells for hours across the house whenever my child paints.) I will unquestionably be buying the refill of my paint from a different source! Another very minor thing, would be that I feel that the paint brush bristles would be better if they were more prominent and fluffier. Less drip, and better for 3 and 4 year olds to handle paint with.

I bought the easel that this product goes along with, as well. This is a swell product and a must-have if you own an easel. The paint lasts for a very long time in the no-spill canisters that comes with its Also, it is swell for young children as painting builds their selfconfidence and self-esteem. It also teaches them to express themselves more freely. I am definitely not dissapointed in this product!

My 20 month old grandaughter uses this in her high chair when painting. The no spill cups REALLY employees they are awesome! The only small issue I have is that the paints themselves are hard to get off of skin. They come out of clothing if you wash it our without delay but a dark shadow of the painted area stayed on my grandaughters skin for a few days. I will probably look for paints that are different but I would buy this set again just to get the cups!

Don’t buy this kit. I bought it with my daughter’s easel and i’ll have to get her something else.

The paint cups are spill evidence unfeigned but too big.

The paint is awesome and comes with only 4 colors. it smells, is thick and low quality. I prefer by far Crayola paints that comes in small jars.

The brushes frankly are very bad.

There is only one eraser — at this price ( i bought it $30+) an eraser for the chalk board could be added.

The chalk and the rest of the kit are okay.

Summary: i do no recommend this kit. If i knew in regards to the quality, i’d have bought items separately.

Pyramid Timetrax Ethernet Swipe Ttezek

Bought this scheme for a 20-employee shop. Was a small tricky to set up because the manual does not say how to do it for the ethernet version (only the usb version). But figured that out, then it was beautiful easy to set up and utilized laborers like its We did need to set up a paper system for road persons to report their time and mileage, though although time-trax does not handle those). It would be outstanding if there were a web interface so they could report it from wherever they are.

The time clock itself seems pretty reliable, but the software is horrible. The time card report is just a list of punches, not even separated by date. It’s very hard to tell when laborers are missing punches. Other time clocks in this price range have much better software, but we bought this because this was an ethernet time clock and didn’t require a computer to be on in order for employees to punch.

No docs on ethernet set up but tech assist helped. Takes a small becoming utilized to remembering to swipe the card but good riddens to time sheets. Would in addition be nice to concede multi-user (bookeeper and manager) but they only aid single user. Overall quite satisfied.

Newair Aw121e Bottle Thermoelectric Stainless

After a lot of exploration I decisive on the New Air AW-121E 12 bottle wine cooler. There are a lot of coolers out on the market and most of them have reputations for poor performance. New Air seemed to have the highest ratings so I went with it is The third party vender Air & Water Inc is great. Free ground shipping was a nice touch, shipped very fast. Now for the cooler:

Installation was beauteous simple, plug it in and screw on the door handle. The screws on the handle are fine, but the holes are not utterly designed for them to be screwed in by hand (unless you’re genuinely actually but they went in smoothly with an electric drill. I turned on the cooler and set it to my desired temperature 62 degrees F. I for the most part drink red and almost never store white for long periods of time (if you’re a true wine drinker, you know know Some bottles actually suggest what temperature to store the specifi wine at. whether or not you’re not sure, just ask at you’re local wine shop and they’ll be happy to tell you.

It took when it comes to two hours for the cooler to get to the temperature I set and I confirmed it with a thermometer (impressive since it started at 85 degrees). The machine itself makes no real noise. If you listen in truth hard and there are no other sounds in the room you may listen a slight hiss of the fan, but you actually have to attempt to hear it is This thing is quieter then my 20x more highpriced regular fridge/freezer. I have yet to find a 750ml bottle of red that does not fit. Some of the fatter bottles stick in the shelf a bit and fit better on the bottom. Since I purchased it for red wine it is not in truth a concern, but it most likely would not fit champagne both in girth and length of bottle. I haven’t tried it, so I can’t be sure. You may be competent to fit one at the bottom at an angle. The stainless steel looks very nice and the blue LED is a cool feature. Overall if you are looking to store 12 regular sized bottles of red or white, you can’t get a better product for the money. Not sure on the longevity, but New-Air seems to have a repute for lasting a good long while.

Pros:

    Excellent price

    Easy Set Up

    Silent Running

Attractive Look, LED for nice presentation

Great for a small Wine Collection

Cons:

Will not accomodate super fat or long bottles

Three shelves so the last three bottles just sit on the bottom, I’m fine with this, but it might bother others.

*****

Update

I have had this cooler for regarding 4 months now and I perfectly love it is So much so that I bought a second one to store my growing collection of white wines. They look very nice next to each other. It took a small longer to get down to the temperature I wanted (51 degrees), with regards to 8 hours which was still impressive as the room was around 80 degrees. Two of these is less expensively then one of those dual zone fridges, and they also work a lot better. They make a small noise (a faint fan sound) the firstborn day when they’re cooling down, after that they are still just as silent as before.

This wine cooler works well but is the fan is not as quiet as it could be. It holds the set temperature with no troubles even in a warm room. In humid conditions, there is a tendency for condensation to form on the glass door. Be conscious that the racks are rather close together so that the thicker bottles use with better wines do not fit in the racks. I had to remove the middle shelf and lay bottles on top of those on the bottom shelf to fill the cooler to capacity. An OK product for the price, but it does have its shortcomings.

We purchased this small cooler since it fits on the counter top, but below the cabinets, in our pantry/laundry room. It’s an attractive, well-made unit that maintains a temperature of in regards to 55 degrees. This is a little too cool for good white wine so we let these bottles sit for about 30 minutes before pouring. However, it’s a fine temperature for the cheaper stuff we usually drink. Please note that it’s way too cool for red wine so a better idea is to keep the reds on an open rack and cool a bottle in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before pouring.

I’ve been looking for a warming drawer for my kitchen for over 10 years but could never bring myself to pay 800-1000 dollars. Amazon put this one on sale and I snapped it up (especially since I got the last white one on sale). It looks great, works great and I am very happy with its My personal installation was a bit tricky because of where I wanted to install it, but otherwise it was an easy install, no hard wiring, just plug it into an outlet with a large sufficient breaker on it and you’re good to go. Installing the anti-tipping block in the back of where I put it was where I had difficulties. I am sure whether or not I were putting it in a frequent cabinet or something it would have been just fine. I love this drawer and am actually happy to in the end have one installed in my kitchen! Really useful when making a large meal or even when I make waffles. It keeps the waffles warm and warming the plates goes a long way to helping feed remain hot all the way through the meal. I love this drawer!

Air King Qz2303 Quiet Cabinet

It took more venture to install this range fan than I expected. Holding it versus the underside of the cabinet and marking the screw positions is a two person job. Be prepared to troubleshoot, in my hood, electrical wires in the fan compartment initially hit the fan and necessitated to be moved to the side and I needed pliers to bend the upper vent adapter to fit.

Pros: regular light bulb instead of halogen, two light brightnesses, infinite fan speeds

Cons: Not aboveboard install. The fan is not loud but whisper quiet.

The range hood is installed and I hope to get years of service from it.

Lg Ldf7932st Integrated Dishwasher Steamfresh

We purchased this dishwasher to replace an aging Frigidaire that had just halted becoming our dishes clean. We decisive that we wanted to spend a small extra and get a dishwasher that offered more options, and would match our stainless LG refrigerator purchased earlier this year.

First of all, to get the obvious out of the way, this dishwasher is beautiful. Unlike most stainless dishwashers, the handle is more flat than round, which gives the unit a more modern and sleek feel. Also, the control are wholly integrated and the layout and presentment of the buttons is intuitive and user-friendly. I have no prior experience with integrated washers, but the only con is that you can’t without apparent effort see how much time is remaining on the wash cycle because it is concealed below the lip of the counter. The only way to check is to open the door and take a peek.

As for the interior, the tub is all stainless steel which looks fantastic and promises to hopefully stand up to staining and wear and tear better than a traditionalisti plastic or vinyl interior. On the top and bottom racks, there are two sets of tines that are adjustable so whether or not you are loading oddly-shaped dishes, you are more than likely going to be able to fit them in. Additionally, on the bottom rack, there is a row of tines that is wholly removable in case you have tremendous casserole dishes or baking pans that you want to load vertically. The silverware basket is removable and has slots to ascertain that utensils stay standing vertically and not laying versus each other for the duration of a wash cycle. On the top rack there is as well a modular “shelf” attached to the edge that may be employed to hold over-sized utensils. The shelf folds out of the way whether or not you don’t need to use it.

Now for the primary part: wash performance. Included with the unit are samples of Cascade All-in-One Action Packs and a sample bottle of Cascade Rinse-Aid. To tell you now: TAKE THIS AS A SIGN!!! I can’t re-iterate how essential it is to use rinse aid and decent detergent. This washer performed flawlessly using these merchandise on the initial two washes (there are only two detergent packs included). On our third load, we fell back to our old Palmolive Eco+ detergent (low phosphate) and the results were staggering. While the dishwasher was definitely cleaning better than our old one, the baked on gunk was not wholly removed from the dishes and there was a noticeable haze to the dishes that wasn’t there with the detergent packets. Through galore research, we found that the low phosphate detergents are notoriously low performers. This doesn’t mean that you have to throw away money on the Action Packs though. We are now using plain ‘ole powdered Cascade and rinse-aid and our dishes are coming out spotless and shiny.

I’ve read elsewhere that whether or not you don’t use rinse-aid with this dishwasher, your dishes will not be arid at the end of the cycle. I haven’t came upon this issue, but I also haven’t stopped using the rinse-aid. This dishwasher does not have a heating factor in the bottom of the tub, but instead uses a hybrid drying strategy that uses a fan to remove the moisture from the interior air. This strategy has worked outstanding for us, and the only time I see leftover water is on the top rack in the concave bottoms of certain glasses. It’s not much, and I commonly just keep a dish towel nearby if I encounter any and give it a quick wipe on the top.

As for the additional cycles and settings, the steam function does work very well. As cited earlier when using the Palmolive Eco+, the only area of the casserole dish that in truth got cleaned off was the area that was right next to the steam vent. The wash cycle on this washer is a little long (Usually 2 – 2 1/2 hours) but I’m not ordinarily in any kind of hurry to get my dishes clean, so this isn’t in truth an issue.

Finally, if you’re looking for a quiet dishwasher, this is what you’re looking for. You may scarcely tell when it’s running, and the sound it does make nearly sounds like a very quiet babbling brook.

Hope this assists any person that is interested in this fantastic dishwasher.

Like you, I read a heap of reviews of a lot of dishwashers to replace our beloved 10 year old Bosch. This dishwasher looked outstanding and I ignored the bad reviews, as it had a good rating in Consumer Reports. Well, that was dumb. Not only was this a ache in the neck to install, it hasn’t ONCE cleaned a load of dishes well. Like other reviewers we tried dissimilar detergents, rinse agents, loading styles, etc. Our water is not hard and a great deal hot. The dishes in a literal sense were dirtier after we ran the machine. They were covered in film, unusable, and not at all clean. I’ve never seen anything like it! So, after 6 weeks, we are returning it and in all probability going back to Bosch. I’ve never had such difficultnesses with an appliance before, nor have I reviewed one before, but I feel so strongly that I had to share my experience!

We purchased this machine unfortunately, with regards to 1 years ago.

We have had galore difficultnesses since we purchased it, we called client service they recommend something, we went to trip and come back after 2 month, when we use the dishwasher after 3 days I opened the door all of my dishes was wet, had spot and once in a while left detergent on the dishes. Three LG technicians came and saw the problems, at long last they replace it with a new one. We had the same troubles from the day one. Their technicians came and saw our problem again, they recommended that we need to install water softener, use the vinegar, jetdry and everything that you could thick of and we did all of it is Still the troubles did not go away. Their technician came for the last time and they referred us to LG customer service to purchase back the unit. But the customer service refused our case. I have to wash my dishes by hand. This product is awful. Don’t purchase LG at all and don’t waste your money.

Do yourself a favor and don’t buy LG…I have both an LG dishwasher and LCD tv’s..they have both broken multiple times and they are only 2 years old. LG has galore major quality issues and customer service sucks!!!!!

When i firstborn was researching this dishwasher I had read many good reviews and a FEW bad ones. Now, a year (almost to the day) after i purchased it, the web is full of largely negative reviews. Unfortunately, now I also have to add my own. The motor makes a grinding noise, then stops working, displaying an LE error which isn’t listed in any of their manuals or troubleshooting guides. It looks to be a general problem with these machines, the filter breaking.

Now I have to spend more $$$ (since the labor is our of warranty) as if this dishwasher hadn’t cost enough.

Although it did work good during the original year, I can’t warrant spending over $700 and then having to spend on repairs a year later. One of the most primary things to consider when buying a big appliance like this IS reliability, and this LG dishwasher just doesn’t cut it.

Truly disappointed in this product,I will NEVER buy an LG dishwasher again. Too bad I can’t return it to Home Depot anymore. Buyer, beware!

To be honest, perchance we just bought a dud. I am getting old sufficient to acknowledge that it just happens sometimes, but this thing is without variation breaking on us. In the initial year it has been down on us 4 times. There is galore type of problem with the heating element buring out the circuit board on its On the last round, I actually smelled burning wires in the kitchen which actually frightened our family.

Thank GOD for the extended service plan at Home Depot or I would have pulled this thing out and towed it around the neighborhood behind our SUV.

As I type this, the unit is broken again and flashing an HE error which means a fresh heater error and burnt circuit board.

If the unit didn’t break so much, I actually would give it quite high marks. It is quiet, cleans very well and SUPER heats the dish water so they are near sterile. A good looking unit as well, but it would be like getting a brand new Corvette that constantly had a wheel that fell off on you. Sure ruins the experience.

Buyer be VERY aware!

Most of the positive reviews I’ve read here are when it comes to appearance and the capacity to clean dishes. Their is a conspicuous absence of persons who like the product’s performance, that also write that they’ve owned their unit for years without problems… We bought ours 14 months ago, and the comfort went out after 8 months. The tech showed up and did something, but said he couldn’t replicate the problem and suddenly the consolation worked! But only for 5 more months… Now the comfort is to the full or entire extent dead and we have arranged for another tech to come out but will now be paying for it ourselves. In addition to the console we now have standing water in the tub, and the seals on around the unit are not functioning properly. Having been through two fix calls in 14 months we’ve learned such a good deal of things regarding LG by talking with current or former mend companies, and with LG directly:

1) Service companies we spoke with that used to service LG devices but stopped, or decisive never to work with them to commence with, listed a couple of reasons:

   a. they can’t inventory constituents for their customers, so they must return a second time – charging clients 2x – to finish a fix once the portion comes in. This is just bad business.

   b. elements must be ordered from LG directly and take FOREVER (we’ve been told that we are going to be washing dishes by hand for the next 2 weeks while we wait for the allocation and repairs).

   c. plainly LG is a complete pain in the arse to do business with – 3 of 4 fix firms we called for service said that there is plenty of business and they have selected not to deal with LG.

2) There appears to be a severe shortage of technicians that are readily available to service our dishwasher. I’ve read regarding this issue from others, and am now living it myself. We called the

one service company in our area (that is roughly 18 miles away) early Monday and were told that they would get to an LG fix no earlier than Friday afternoon.

3) LG’s service assist STINKS. They tend to be a bit rude/curt. More importantly, LG’s own policy for how they want to assist their customers is OUTRAGEOUS! They want you to call and

assert service calls directly with the mend company for yourself etc… each time we deal with them I find myself not believing what they’re saying – zero confidence – based on our experience with them.

In a nutshell – we love how our dishwasher looks and how it washes dishes (but in this day and age you can get a 10 year old Maytag to wash well by buying high end detergent and using a rinse) – but it is poorly designed and breaks down LOOONGGG before it should, and LG as a company cant be trusted to support what it sold you in an effective manner. They have a customer satisfaction questionnaire after you call their service center, but it asks all the wrong questions regarding “how polite and knowledgeable” the call center employee was…as he tells you that his hands are tied and you are on your own with your newer appliance that has broken down again…

NEVER AGAIN WILL WE PURCHASE AN LG APPLIANCE – by the way our kitchen is 100% LG today, but will be 0% 18 months from now…

I bought this dishwasher 2 or 3 years ago. I wanted to give it a zero rating, but this is not possible. I suppose it can get a one star rating, it still beats hand washing, most times. We bought this dishwasher brand new from a chain store that sells “all the brands”. We had traditionally bought our gimmicks from a local appliance dealer. This dishwasher was to replace the 10 year old Maytag that had endured the abuse of my children. They had abused the Maytag until it’s final cry for mercy. During the six months of having them wash the dishes by hand I had done exploration on what would be the best, rugged, teen proof, fetch it!, dishwasher I could find. This was a relatively new model and the reviews on it at the time were great. There seemed to be a lot of room to place a huge family quantity of dishes in. It was supposed to clean even the toughest (plate missing for six months found below child’s bed would make a good science project)dishes. I loved the idea that the upper rack had a height adjustment. I have a huge stock pot that wouldn’t fit in the former dishwasher. It fit in this one. I loved the idea that you could put a pot in the middle of the bottom rack and not worry in regards to the upper rack’s dishes getting clean. It was a great dishwasher on paper and in the showroom. My husband and I expended more money on this dishwasher than we had expected but we figured it ought to last and that over the years the cost would depreciate. Boy, were we wrong. It does not do a great occupation of washing the dishes. You cannot utilize each prong set so that all the plates can get washed at once. You have to use each other prong set. Sometimes the top rack comes out with feed particles that were on the dishes in the bottom rack. The only cycle that does a decent job is the power wash cycle and even this cycle doesn’t do the job I spent $1000 to do. I rinse most of my dishes before placing them in the dishwasher, except for things like coffee cups. So, I acknowledge it isn’t me. Within the initial six months the fan on the door went. Luckily, it was still below guarantees It was very quiet machine, until lately. For the past couple of months, at the end of the cycle, before the cute chime melody, there’s a 30 second loud, grinding sound. If I don’t listen it at the end of the cycle, I will hear it at the beginning of the next cycle. Today, the dishwasher didn’t drain. There is no “drain” button. After cleaning up the flood in my kitchen, I Googled and found out how to drain the dishwasher. It’s in the FAQ on the LG web sites I drained the dishwasher. After this review, today’s quest will be to find the receipt and warrantee info.

The lessons I learned from buying this dishwasher: Cost doesn’t perpetually equate to quality. Buy your widgets from a local, reputable dealer. They know their products and won’t attempt to trade you the most highpriced product unless that’s what you’re looking for. The $10-20 more it would cost is well worth it in service and repair. specially service. Don’t buy new models with very little reviews. Read the reviews, Start with the negatives. Disregard the one star “I wanted pink and it only came in white” reviews. Pay attention to the reviews that tell you not to waste your money.

I know this is long. Thank you for your longanimity in reading this

We have had the same issues others have had.

In our case we do dishes around every other day or every day, and we use to use normal arid soap. The dishes never seemed to get clean and the strategy broke while underneath warranty. It was limited and the repair guy told us that we were using too much soap. So we scaled down the amount of soap and the dishes came out worse. We then had it break again this time out of warranty and it cost about $400 to get fixed. We then swapped to the gel packets and the cleaning was acceptable. Granted they are expensive, but at least they worked and cleaned our dishes. Now the system broke again. It looks like the pump again, so we are going to cut our losses and get another dishwasher. We are going back to Kitchen Aid. We had that brand before our move to a new house and it lasted fine for over 10 years.

My counsel is to keep out of the way of LG dishwashers at all cost. We do have their washer and dryer though and they kept up well so far (4 years).

This dishwasher broke before it reached 2 months of used It looks nice, but it is hard to recommend it when it breaks so easily. This was my firstborn LG appliance purchase and I doubt I will make any more.

Britax Parkway Booster Seat Livia

I obtained our booster on July 29 and was very nervous when it comes to using its Our son is only 3.5 but by his build, they commend using a booster. Still, I wasn’t 100% comfortable with it so I chose the Parkway SGL because of the latch and (more importantly) the SecureGuard.

Well, one week later on Aug 6, he was involved in a fairly serious car accident with his grandmother. I was out of town but was told the paramedics commented that the booster was great and did incisively what it was supposed to do. Our son had only a small tenderness in his chest and shoulder and otherwise, not even a scratch.

Unfortunately, we had to purchase a dissimilar model to get him home in because this one is only available online. However, I might still buy yet another. Clearly, it did precisely what we necessitated it to do. The day after the accident, he was playing like not one thing happened.

I realize there are a heap of safe seats out theres but this one is a winner all the way around to me. Easy to secure, easy to use, low profile have a Corolla) and provided amazing protection…

I was looking to move my virtually 5 year old into a booster. I debated whether to get this one or the former model, which was available for regarding $20 less than I paid for this one. It was unmanageable to locate the differences, but what sold me on this one is that they had redesigned the secure guard clip to be one strap rather of two. various reviewers complained when it comes to the solace of the 2 strap secure guard. I love that feature – I feel it makes my child safer. She loves the seat. It is comfortable and easy for her to secure herself. The other huge divergence among this and the previous version of the parkway is that it has optional LATCH attachments. They were super easy to use and it keeps the seat from moving around as the child gets in and out and in addition keeps it from being a prospective projectile in an accident whether or not your child is not riding in the booster. Very very pleased with the seat. Really, my only complaint at all is I would have loved to get the pink seat in the old style. The new color pink looked too garish to me for use in the car so we went with gray.

This is a nicely designed seat, but has few issues. We like the latch connectors that are easy to use, overall solace and fit. The fabrics choices are poor compared to older Britax seats, like the introductory generation of Parkway booster. Cardinal is slippery and noisy nylon. Would be easy to clean, but would you let your kid sit on something so uncomfortable, in specifi in summer? Nah. We returned it and got Cloudburst rather – I think this is the only soft-touch fabric available for the SGL model (it is similar to touch to Maui Blue we have on Britax Frontier 85 seat).

Also the belt guides are over-designed and may cause the belt to jam, depending on the position of the belt and with what force it retracts. This is a serious safety issue whether or not the kid leans forward and the belt does not retract. Luckily the belt guides from Parkway SG model may be retrofitted to it (they fit perfect), altho they have the opposite problem of letting the belt slip out (Hello, Britax, I wonder, is it that hard to design decent belt guide? such a lot of ordinary sense would be all that’s needed one would think).

The seat has sharp edges in the back so you unquestionably want to use a seat protector in order to prevent scuff to the upholstery.

Advice – whether or not you are not going to use LATCH you’re better off becoming Parkway SG. We like LATCH because it keeps the seat in place and prevents it from becoming a projectile whether or not unoccupied and not belted in in an accident.

UPDATE 9/29/11: The substitute guides for Parkway SG that you can directly order from Britax are perfect! They are dissimilar and improved than “stock” ones I saw on a Parkway SG. They do net let the belt slip out and there is no bump that would cause it to jam. Parkway SGL with the alternate SG belt guides is a perfective booster seat.

I purchased this seat for my four year old. She fits in the seat well. She says it is comfortable and seems to in truth like the seat. She can’t rather buckle her belt yet, so my husband and I still have to support her, but it is due more to age then the booster. She has already gorgeous much mastered the secure guard and does that allocation by herself. We just ordered another one because my seven year old has requested one also, saying it is more comfortable than the seat she presently has (Graco). The Britax was easy to put together and install in our van, and I love the added safety feature of the latch scheme strategy found in other booster seats). So far this seat has been wonderful.

After researching booster seats for such a lot of time I decisive to go with the Britax SGL. We have perpetually gone with Britax, love them! We have 4 children who are all in them right now. My twins are real close to being to tall for their Marathon 5 point Harness seats they still have another 10 pounds on the weight. I thought we would switch them to the boosters. I loved the fact the you could Latch the booster seat so that you could prevent it from flying around your car in the event you did get in a car accident. I also loved the fact that it has the extra slide for the seatbelt to be in the right manner positioned on your child, those two points sold me alone plus that I have always been pleased with Britax.

The car seats arrived and the girls and I were so excessively affected emotionally to get them in the car. When my husband got home he took out their old seats and put in the boosters. When the girls climbed in the back to learn how to buckle their new seats, it is then we ran into that the car seats do NOT fit properly in our minivan. The boosters were put in the last row of Dodge Grand Caravan 2010, I have the 2 younger kids in the middle row captain seats(they still need support buckling up ages 3,and 2). The way the seatbelts are attached to the the car prevent them from functioning properly. Instead of coming from behind the seat is is more to the side. The seatbelt does not tighten up and stays loose making it inconceivable for the girls to buckle themselves in. They are able to clip the seatbelt in but the seatbelt itself does not retract making it a tight fit. It genuinely takes a few minutes of an adult messing with it to get it right. They are 5 1/2 and have been doing it by themselves for some time now in the marathon. The angle of the seatbelts does not let it slide through the booster with no problems or difficulties at all. I was soooo disappointed.

We tried moving the booser to the middle row, captains chairs and they do fit theres It is still a small difficult for the girls to buckle the clip in because the buckle is down so low. They would probbably get better at it with time. I would definately keep the seats if I could have them in the middle row but with our set-up I need the older the kids in the back row so I could help the younger kids in the middle row. I dont want to be climbing in everytime we go somewhere to the back of the car. I am looking for a booster that works safely and one that the kids can do themselves which is why I am returning them in hopes to find one that will work beter in our car.

Overall the booster seats looked great, a large total of padding, my girls loved the colors!! Which is why I gave it 4 stars the appearance and the saferty reviews. I just wish they would work in our car. My neighbor has an 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan and they too have the same problem(4 kids as well) same seating arrangements-older ones in the back. The bottom line would be if you have a Dodge Caravan 2008 or 2010 these will not work in the last row of the car!! You would think that the car companies would think when it comes to things like this, the main reason we have minivans is because we have kids! I am not certain with regards to any other years but check before you buy.

As a tried and unfeigned Britax lover, I was thrilled when, after doing tons of research, the Britax Parkway SGL came up at the top of my list. I bought two seats, one for each vehicle and thought I was set. Unfortunately, after installing the seats per the instruction book, I encountered that the seats would not work in either of our vehicles (Subaru Forester and Dodge Ram 1500 pick-up).

In their efforts to make the shoulder seatbelt routing dummy-proof, Britax has overdesigned the slot. In both our vehicles, the seatbelts got stuck and failed to retract when my son leaned forward and then back again. The seatbelts stayed slack and would not have retained my son if we had been in an accident. The seatbelt binding did not seem to be a problem with my daughter who is taller (thus the seat back and belt slot were raised several inches more). If your child is on the shorter, littler side, make certain the shoulder strap of the seatbelt moves freely through the seatbelt drive before you leave the driveway!

Thank goodness I purchased the seats from Amazon.com. Trouble-free return for both seats. Off to find another seat through Amazon.

I am so bummed this seat isn’t going to work out for us. I love Britax…I own 3 Fronteir 85′s. I bought two of the SGL’s for my parents to take with them when they take my girls for a couple weeks this summer. I wanted something that was easy for them to install, something lightweight, and above all SAFE! Yes, this seat is a cinch to install with latch. Yes, it is lightweight. Yes, it is safe! I loved the fact that it has the Secure Guard. While my 5yr old surely meets the guidelines for fitting in a booster she is not mature enough. The few times she has ridden in a booster she tried to scrunch down to reach something with her feet. So when I saw the Secure Guard I thought I had found the perfect second seat. There is one major drawback though. Britax has changed up the seat material. While I am not too mad in regards to how the Frontier fabric have a tendancy to pill the fabric on the SGL is worse. It is slick sensations I installed the seat today….90 degrees and very humid! While having my arm hold the seat in place while I adjusted the latch it slid. It was sweaty and the seat material was warm and made slick by my sweat. I went back inside the house to get the kids ready to go pick up my eldest from school. I would say 10 minutes went by. We went out to the car and my daughter was excessively affected emotionally to undertake out the new seat. She jumped in and jumped right back out. The seat material was very warm/hot on her bare legs. I am glad I still had her Frontier installed as she buckled right up in that. Like I said at the beginning…I am so bummed regarding the seat material. If you live in a temperate climate it might not be a huge deal but if you live somewhere that gets hot this seat will not feel good to your little one. I imagine that it would have the potential to be pretty chilly feeling in the winter too. The material virtually feels like a the outer shell of a sleeping bag.

This is a lot more hassle than the 5-point harness was. In the old car seat, the car seatbelt stayed fastened and only the straps in the car seat had to be manipulated on each used Because this uses the car seatbelt to secure the child, every time the child gets in the seat, I am fighting with the seatbelt retractor and the seatbelt guide. The shoulder-strap guide is designed so the seatbelt doesn’t slip out of place, and the car sealtbelt is designed so that to pull it out, I have to let it rewind all the way — which requires removing the belt from the guide. If it weren’t for the issue with the retractor and the strap guide, a five-year old could fasten herself in. As it is, it takes an adult a several minutes of discouraging and hindering hassle every time we get in the car.

Another reason to use the five-point harness strategy as long as it fits!

(I’ve only shortlisted it down one star because I have not tried to use it in other cars — perhaps the particular configuration of my car and this seat is not compatible. Now driving a Subaru legacy — expect to get a different car in a few months – I’ll update the review when that happens.)

I loved the Britax Marathon our son outgrew. Trying to find a booster seat that seemed comfortable and safe was a HUGE competitor I liked the LATCH strategy on car seats and wanted a booster with them. I went to a local “big box” store and asked which seats had them. They looked at me like I was an overprotective mother with three heads! They told me I wouldn’t need the LATCH scheme because you use the car’s seatbelt with a booster. HELLO!! I recognise that! I just wanted the booster to stay in place, exceptionally since 50-75% of the driving I do is without my son in the car!

Out of sheer frustration, I called Britax inquiring if I could buy the LATCH belt that fits the Marathon. (I didn’t want to rob that seat in the event we determine to get rid of that one or have another baby. Also, I love the style of LATCH Britax uses, it’s SO EASY.) I explained my frustration with finding a decent booster seat, especaially since there are a great deal of ratings on car seats but I couldn’t find any on booster seats. The rep I talked to told me about the Parkway SGL stressing that the “L” stood for LATCH. It had the tie-down I was looking for! It was a little more than I wanted to spend on a seat, but worth every penny! It fits, it’s secure in the car, and it’s well padded for my son. all, we adults like comfortable seats, shouldn’t our kids get them too? I find they travel requiring little effort when they’re comfortable.)

This is a wondrous seat with excellent safety features. We had always been a Britax family since the birth of our twins. We were very excessively affected emotionally when this booster came out with a latch scheme and the further and added lap safety feature. It’s comfortable and have taken two long road trips with no complaints from the kids. The only downside to this seat is that you cannot open the drink holder without hurting yourself or becoming off the seat. An ease I miss when calling for that holder open instatly. I am not certain why this is so difficult but it is! If that was not a problem, I would have given it 5 stars.

Not classy, but a great respected I was missing one wheel cover and could not find a match. Everything I found in sets of four were 3 to 4 times as highpriced as these. They’re a good fit, they do the job, came in perfective condition, and were easy to install. Now, my Matrix looks whole again for a bargain pricey

These hubcaps were shipped in a reasonable amount of time. Zero issues with the products They fit the wheel well and zero problems with them staying on. This are well priced and a good valued

The hubcaps arrived fast, and were easy to install. The greatest surprise was that they look great! And the price for the set of 4, including shipping, is still less than I had to compensate for 1 common hubcap last time I had to replace one.

They came quickly, and are in perfective condition. They are evidently not the same quality as OEM, but for $30 you cannot go wrong. Look good on the Sienna, much better than the flower power hubcaps Toyota chose to put on this vehicle.

I love the wheel covers. they look better than the primary ones and they are easy to install. I repelled around a while with missing covers and my car was looking a bit neglected. The only regret I have was not getting them sooner.

I was to the full or entire extent satisfied with this products I would for certain recommend it to others.

these were the wrong size and discount wheel covers would not return e-mails or phone calls untill I filed a report with Amizon. I would say remain away from this site!!!!! I am still waiting for my cash from my return.

These are just junk. The plastic breaks very easily, and the hubcaps won’t stay on the car. If you want to spend hours looking in the ditches for your missing hubcaps, then these would be a good bought

Earth Executive Tall Directors Chair

i love this chair. i’ve been researching director chairs for a while now, and as a makeup artist, it’s so important to have the right instrumentation to work effectively. i did not realize there were dissimilar models of tall aluminum director’s chairs like “heavy duty”. im am so happy i purchased this. it saves my back. looks super pros has that “expsensive appeal”. is extremely sturdy. the weight ability is tremendous tremendous pun intended). it’s comfy. folds up for easy portability and storage. the price is a STEAL & ordinary shipping was released i received my package way earlier than i expected. im so glad i waited & researched before i purchased just any old chair. i commend this chair for all makeup artists. the little side table & extra pockets are super convenient.if you’re severe in regards to your work & making a durable impression, invest in this chair. the seat height is in regards to 31 inches from the ground. which is perfect for me. im 5’8…..i would say whether or not your shorter than 5’2, u may have to wear heels to comfortably reach ur customers face.

weight capacity: 375 lbs

chair weight: 16 lbs

dimensions: 44″x21x20D

folded dimensions: 44″x23x7d

seat height: 31″

as a huge guy, six foot five, 300lbs, and having bad back problems, I am perpetually looking for a good comfortable chair that has a high seat height. This chair fills the bill nicely. it is very comfortable, even for longer periods. the table and side bags are sturdy and well constructed. overall a nice chair, and something that is really swell when I am outside or camping.

Came the day before the time estimated! Which is utterly amazing because I have to leave town in 2 days for vip photoshoots and had my fingers crossed I would get it before hand! I’m a make up artist and my back is constantly killing me due to my customers being too low and me hunching over. I just pulled it out and it is so tall and has a sturdy tray! I may use the side bags to put mu trash and one for paper towels! super super stoked! love it!

These chairs are great. I highly recommend them for any person because they are very sturdy and comfortable. The side tray contains pop cans, water bottles, or glasses as well as a place to set a dish with food. When you set them up you may tell they will last and much crusade was put into the construction. Footrest is comfortable. Chair itself is not wobbly like others I looked it is It sets evenly on the floor. They fold up great and may be stored easily. Another plus are the humans that work there is I necessitated these in a hurry and they got right on it shipping it out the same day for me. The friendliness and courtesy I received were very impressive. Overall I recognise I will have these for years to come.

Well I must say that I veritably was pleased with this chair. It’s easy to pop open and

I like that it’s roomy enough for all. Table was strong and sturdy.

Very excessively affected emotionally to use it and it made me feel so professional using it for

makeup. I did have to ask the girls to move up a bit so I could reach their face.

I guess they were comfortable sitting in it, too!

Unbelievable chair! And fast and easy delivery. It’s fabulously sturdy and easy as all get out to set up. The cadillac of all director chairs!

This is a very nice chair. I liked that I did not have to recompense shipping. Only problem is with the foot rest. It does not extend from the frame of the chair, so it is a little uncomfortable to use its Otherwise, all is good.

I LOVE this chair! I bought it for when I’m selling my bath & body products at markets on the weekends. They say being eye level with customers is important, and that you ought to always stand. I was looking for something that would put me on that eye level, but in addition keep me comfortable when I’m there from 7am-5pm. This was the best choice and I’m so excessively affected emotionally I splurged on its The extra pockets on the side are perfect, the fold up table is wondrous for setting down my cash box and a drink. I even put my purse in the netting on the bottom, which is beyond helpful when it’s raining. The net fits my little cooler too, so it’s nice and roomy. The only issue I’ve had is it seems to hit at a weird spot on the back of my legs, but thats just due to my height & depth of the chair(I’m 5″3 and such a good deal of such a heap of so it’ll be very comfortable for a tall persons I’d in addition maybe like a taller back, but thats just being nit picky at this point. Overall an excellent buy that I’d recommend to anyone who sells at indie markets and craft fairs!

So, I bought a employed one and I just received it the other day and I have to say WOAH! This chair is impressive. I’ve never seen any like it is Its large and comfortable! It has a nice table on the side. At original I thought maybe they forgot to send the foot rest attachment with it being used and all but then I came across that it is attached to the chair, you just have to pull it down to set it up and then when you fold the chair back up you need to pull it back up. I’m more than impressed with this chair, I love it! it’s perfect for doing makeup with and hair even though it may be too high for me to do hair as it can be tiring when styling the top percentage of the head, it’s ok because even if I don’t use it for hair I can have my customer sit on a different chair and use the director’s chair to put my stuff on, it’s so sturdy that I think I can use the whole thing to set up my stuff. This is great! It as well was shipped out fast, the price was right and free shipping! I’d say this was a GREAT investment!

Well made chair easy to open. But the back could be a little higher for comfort. If you have to sit in it for a long time the back is just to low. Other than that is well made and reasonably comfortable.
