Arrow Sewing Cabinets 601 Gidget
If you are looking for a swell little sewing table, this is its It’s stout, a good height and a nice size. I had previously purchased a nice wooden sewing table with expandable sides, so that it looked like a piece of furniture. The reality was that it wasn’t stout enough to handle the sewing machine so it was very uncomfortable to sew. This fit my needs absolutely and I’m very happy with it is
At firstborn glance, this is a nice, stowable little craft table. It was very easy to set up, there was no assembly required, and it doesn’t take up much space. But when I started to sew a long seam and got my machine up to speed the table shakes so much it was impossible to use my machine to it’s full capacity. I had to keep the stitching speed to < half speed to avoid the shaking. Nice for little amounts of sewing (hemming, etc.) but not stable enough for making bigger projects.
Good quality and design make this sewing machine table perfective for my uses. It required no assembly, and it is very stable.
I would recommend this product to any individual that needs a sewing table or a craft table. It comes entirely assembled, all you need to do is unfold the legs and set it up. It has a drop down shelf to hold most sewing machines and gives you a very smooth table to help assist your material. Since I do a lot of quilting, this is idea for me. It gives me more room for my quilts so that they are not bunched up.Sew Much More Sewing Table
I ‘had’ this table for a short time. After using it one afternoon, I scooted my chair in closer, and the whole thing collapsed. I felt lucky to get $50 back for it when I sold it on Craig’s list. I admonished the buyer, they said they would be sure to brace it versus a wall or something.
I did lots of exploration before I decisive on a table…and I’m in truth happy with my purchased Although I would have liked a cabinet that had drawers and folded up for my guests when they arrived, they were cost prohibitive. This table fits my machine perfect. Measure your machine accurately! Mine fit perfective with just 1/4″ to spare. It drops down so the needle is absolutely level with the table. You may really modify the drop by a couple of inches so your machine must fit properly. It is stable. The drop shelf does not have a finished edge, nor the inside of the table cut edge. I sanded the front edge a bit, and had my husband run a bead of caulking along its A simple fix, but could effortlessly be done at the factory whether or not they wanted poisonous I guess the price point means we take care of the little things, and it was easy. It would be very easy to move around to other locations whether or not I chose to, and I can without apparent effort put it away when guests come. I think I’ll be happy with this table for a long time.
Table is lightweight and easy to collected But if you sew fast or at medium speed, the table shakes so much that I thought we were having an earthquake. Slowing down the machine gets rid of the shake, but I don’t think you should have to do a “workaround” on a table that’s built for sewing. I’ll most likely replace this with a desk from the secondhand store and use this for my laptop.
The table works great. Bought it for a 830 Record, for free motion sewing.
Would Recomend this product for anybody who just needs a small sewing table.
